Bob Bernier and his wonder dog Savannah are RWCP’s first therapy dog/handler team to successfully complete the demanding and intensive four-day training course to become certified in animal assisted crisis response. They are now eligible to enter locations such as disaster areas, emergency evacuation centers and fire camps to provide animal-assisted therapy in traumatic and catastrophic events, such as mass shootings and other disasters.
